When Covid broke out in early 2020, HHC secured funding to assist local businesses to help with unforeseen expenses.  Our restaurant owner lost all her catering, so HHC hired her every weekend in May 2020 to “cater” meals to the town residents.  HHC paid for the meals and assisted with prep and serving for meals reserved.

HHC assisted small independent business owners by paying their rent/utilities for a month to offset loss of sales.

HHC sent Covid Cash to every household in town to assist with food costs or utility bills.
