Mobile Meals

Our mobile meals project was our first idea to assist residents.  We have one food option left in our town which is the local restaurant.  We set out to determine those in need of assistance in obtaining meals and reached out to them.  We then began the search for drivers to deliver the meals. With the assistance from locals able to donate their time, we have been delivering three meals a week to local residents in need since October of 2019.  While the list of meal recipients change, we continue to provide to all in need.

In late 2020 it became apparent that our mobile meals program was in trouble.  We hung on as long as we could, but without community volunteers to deliver the meals, we were forced to stop the program.
