Each year Hardtner hosts the county fair at our Fair Grounds on the edge of town.  On Friday and Saturday evening, Hardtner puts on a rodeo.  With 2020 finding a lot of people just beginning to step back into society, HHC felt that everyone deserved a break.  We began a free hamburger feed each night of the rodeo.  We dispersed over 570 hamburgers by the end of the Saturday night.  We continued this into the 2021 rodeo season and have plans to only make it bigger each year.

We are now in our 4th year of this project and have ironed out a lot of the early on kinks.  With the help of 4H kids, wonderful sponsors and a few locals we proudly serve 500 hamburgers during the rodeo.  We have added additional items along the way to make each hamburger given out a special treat.
